Screw pump introduction

When the screw pump is running, the screw is meshed while rotating, and the liquid is driven by the spiral groove on one or several screw rods to be discharged in the axial direction. The main advantages of the screw pump are compact structure, basically no pulse of flow and pressure, stable operation, long service life, high efficiency and wide range of applicable liquid types and viscosities. The disadvantage is that the manufacturing and processing requirements are high and the working characteristics are sensitive to the change of viscosity. Screw pump can be divided into single screw pump, twin screw pump and three screw pump. Single-screw pump, the single-headed male screw rotors in a special double-headed female screw rotors within the eccentric rotation, and with the stator spiral (Figure 2-51 shows), the stator is generally rubber material. The twin-screw pump has two screw shafts of the same size, one is a driving shaft, and one is a driven shaft, and the two shafts rotate synchronously through a meshing transmission (as shown in Figure 2-52 and Figure 2-53). Three screw pump, an active screw and two driven screw engagement (as shown in Figure 2-54).
