Dust collector safety accessories should be sensitive and reliable when required

The pressure gauge, safety valve and water level gauge of the dust collector should be inspected frequently, flushed and regularly checked to ensure that it is sensitive, reliable and accurate, so as to facilitate the safe operation of the dust collector.

Each precipitator must be equipped with a water level gauge, a qualified pressure gauge and a safety valve in accordance with the technical requirements specified in the “Safety Technical Supervision Regulations for Bag Dust Collectors”. Also, the following operations must be carried out for inspection and maintenance during use.

1. Pressure gauge

The pressure gauge shall be verified at least once every six months. If the indicated pressure value exceeds the accuracy, it shall be replaced.

When the pressure gauge is running, it must be flushed regularly to prevent blockage of the elbow. After flushing, do not turn on the pressure gauge before the traps accumulate condensation water, so as to avoid the high temperature steam directly contacting the spring elbow and damaging the pressure gauge.

The pressure gauge should be wiped frequently (the red line indicating the working pressure must be marked on the dial) to keep the pressure gauge clean and the indication pressure clearly visible.

Always check and observe the position of the cock on the trap to prevent the pressure gauge from being false.

2. Safety valve

In order to prevent the valve plug of the safety valve from sticking to the valve seat, the safety valve should be tested manually or automatically. When doing manual test, it should be lightly lifted, lightly pulled and lightly placed to avoid damage to the safety valve spool and seat. Also pay attention to the steam outlet to avoid burns.

The valve quality of the safety valve is not good or the maintenance is improper. It often leaks and steams during operation. It can be repaired or replaced temporarily, but it must be repaired or replaced when the furnace is stopped. If the steam leaks seriously, the bag must be stopped. Dust collector overhaul. It is absolutely forbidden to use the method of screwing the spring out of the leakage, pressing the heavy object on the lever or moving the weight back, in an attempt to make the safety valve not leak and ignore the great danger hidden by the safety valve.

No other debris may be placed on the safety valve during operation.

In order to verify the accuracy and reliability of the safety valve, an automatic steam exhaust test is usually performed once a month.

For dust collectors equipped with automatic steam pressure control and alarms, these devices must be inspected frequently during operation to maintain the power source and make the switch position in a normal state. The steam pressure indicated and reflected by these equipments should be checked against the precipitator pressure gauge for each shift to prevent false indications and false signals.

3. Water level gauge

In order to prevent the steam and water pipes of the water level gauge from being blocked, and cannot accurately reflect the water level of the dust collector, the water level table should be flushed at least twice per shift, and must be flushed once in succession.

The water level gauge steam, water cock and glass plate (tube) should be kept clean. If water leakage or steam leakage is found, it should be repaired in time. The lighting of the water level gauge should be kept good to prevent the glass plate (tube) from being dirty or the lighting position is improper. Can't see the water level.

The glass tube water level gauge should prevent cold water and cold wind from invading during operation to avoid sudden cold shrinkage and burst.

When the wet scrubber is running, the water level of the water level gauge should be slightly fluctuating. If the water surface fluctuation is not obvious or is in a static state, it means that the water connection pipe between the water level gauge and the dust collector is not clear, not the water cock is not open, or the water connection pipe or the glass plate (pipe) is blocked; if the water level table is found If the indicated water surface is higher than the actual water surface, it means that the steam pipe passage between the water level gauge and the dust collector is not smooth, and the steam pressure in the upper space of the water level gauge is smaller than the steam pressure in the water tank. The reason is that the steam cock is not fully open, or the upper part of the steam pipe or glass plate (tube) is blocked. Therefore, in order to prevent the water level from appearing as a false water level, if there is any doubt about the water level during operation or if the water level is abnormal, it should be flushed and checked immediately. The flushing method is as described above.
