Spectral Modulated Glass Ceramic Material Comes Out

The research and development and application of spectral-modulated glass-ceramic materials completed by the Fujian Institute for the Study of the Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has passed the provincial acceptance.

The project focuses on the preparation technology, structure and optical-to-frequency conversion performance of transparent glass ceramics for silicon solar cell applications, and has achieved a series of research results. The R&D personnel designed and manufactured a series of excellent frequency up-conversion and quantum cutting oxyfluoride transparent glass ceramics, rare-earth-doped semiconductor quantum dot glass ceramics, etc. to achieve efficient down conversion of red light emission, which can significantly improve the battery in UV and Optoelectronic response and energy conversion efficiency in the blue region. The project technology has reached the international advanced level and has broad application prospects.
