BASF plans to invest in Asia Pacific

BASF plans to invest in Asia Pacific On the 4th, BASF, the world's largest chemical group, announced that it will invest 10 billion euros (about 13 billion US dollars) in the Asia-Pacific region from 2013 to 2020, and it is expected to add about 9,000 jobs.

BASF said in a statement that the compound annual growth rate of chemical industry production in the Asia-Pacific region by 2020 is expected to be 6.2%, which is higher than the world average of 4.0%. BASF expects to benefit from the high growth in the Asia-Pacific region and in 2020. Achieved 25 billion euros (about 32.5 billion U.S. dollars) in sales in the Asia-Pacific region.

BASF also said that it is necessary to accelerate the company's localization in the Asia-Pacific region. With 2020 as the limit, BASF plans to expand its number of R&D personnel in the Asia-Pacific region from the current approximately 800 to 3,500. By then, one quarter of the company's R&D efforts will be concentrated in the Asia-Pacific region. At the same time, 75% of the products sold by BASF in the Asia-Pacific region will also be produced locally. To this end, BASF will strengthen cooperation with local companies and promote mergers and acquisitions.

BASF said that in the future, it will provide customers with applications for low-carbon construction, advanced pharmaceuticals, environmentally friendly coatings, sustainable packaging, energy-saving automobiles, renewable energy, etc. in response to market demand in the Asia-Pacific region, while providing agricultural solutions that consume less resources. The company will also provide products in areas such as affordable housing, food diversification, wind energy utilization, and water purification, particularly for the emerging middle class in the Asia-Pacific region.

BASF is the world's largest chemical group. In 2012, it had global sales of 72.1 billion euros (about 93.7 billion US dollars) and employed about 110,000 people. BASF currently has more than 100 production sites in the Asia Pacific region and has its R&D and innovation center in the Asia Pacific region in Shanghai, China.

Coal Activated Carbon For Recycling Of Solvents

Using high quality coal as raw material for solvent recovery, coal is mainly used in the recovery of benzene, toluene, ether, alcohols, gasoline, three, methyl chloride, organic solvents and other hydrocarbons, as well as the vapor recovery of hydrocarbon compounds.

Use: Used in the seperation and recycling of aethers, ketons, alcohols, tetrahydrofuran, methylene dichloride, trichloromethane, trichloroethylene, chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, carbon bisulfide, benzene, gasoline etc.
