Philippine furniture manufacturing industry calls on the government to lift controls on timber imports

China's first furniture industry local service standards will be implemented in Shanghai
In order to meet the needs of optimizing and upgrading the industrial structure and accelerating the requirements of Shanghai's service standardization, a service standardization working mechanism that is “government-led, industry-led, enterprise-based, and socially involved†has been established. A standard-setting work of "Shanghai Furniture Business Service Behavior" , which has the nature of service responsibility standards and supports the technical and technical attributes of various economic service activities, is being carried out under the leadership of the Shanghai Furniture Association.
"Standard" includes introduction, scope, terms and definitions, basic conditions, business management, service requirements, personnel management, normative appendices, informative appendices and assessment conditions.
The "Shanghai Furniture Business Service Behavior" standard will go through a series of soliciting opinions and revision procedures, and will be submitted to the Shanghai Technical Quality Supervision Bureau for approval in early August , as the country's first furniture industry local service standard implemented in Shanghai.
