The Japan Association of Agricultural Cooperatives said that although there are many ways to reduce costs in terms of fertilizer packaging, it is still unable to curb rising fertilizer prices. Rapid growth of population in emerging countries such as South America and India, strong demand for food, and general increase in prices of international fertilizer raw materials are the main reasons. At the same time, the Agricultural Association called for strengthening soil testing and formulating fertilization, reducing the cost of fertilization, and responding to the increase in fertilizer prices.
