External wall insulation crack resistant glass fiber mesh cloth concrete construction steps

1. The preparation of polymer mortar must be carried out by a responsible person to ensure the quality of mixing. 2. To open the lid, turn it counterclockwise. Use a mixer or another suitable tool to re-stir the adhesive to prevent separation. Ensure the mixture is properly blended to avoid any quality issues. 3. The correct mixing ratio for polymer mortar is: KL binder : 425# sulphoaluminate cement : sand (sieved through an 18-mesh sieve) at a weight ratio of 1:1.88:3.25. 4. Weigh the cement and sand accurately, then pour them into the mixing tank. Add the binder according to the specified ratio and mix thoroughly. The mixture should be uniform to avoid segregation and maintain a porridge-like consistency. If needed, add water in moderation based on workability. 5. Use clean, potable water for mixing the mortar. 6. Polymer mortar should be used promptly after mixing, ideally within one hour for optimal performance. Store it in a cool, shaded area to avoid direct sunlight exposure. 7. Cut the fiberglass mesh from the full roll to the required dimensions, ensuring there is enough overlap or lap length as necessary. 8. Cut the mesh in a clean, flat area. Ensure the cut is precise and the mesh is rolled up neatly—never folded or stepped on. 9. Reinforce the corners of the building. The reinforcement layer should be placed on the innermost side, extending 150mm on each side. 10. When applying the first layer of polymer mortar, ensure the EPS board surface is dry and free from contaminants or impurities. 11. Apply a thin layer of polymer mortar over the polystyrene board, covering an area slightly larger than the mesh size. Maintain a consistent thickness of about 2mm. Avoid applying the mortar directly on the sides of the EPS board unless specified. 12. Once the mortar is applied, place the mesh over it. Curve the mesh towards the wall and spread it evenly from the center outward to embed it fully. Ensure the mesh is smooth and not wrinkled. After the surface dries, apply a second layer of mortar, approximately 1.0mm thick, without exposing the mesh. 13. The overlap between mesh sections should be at least 70mm. In areas where the mesh is cut, use a patch mesh to create a secure joint with the same minimum overlap. 14. Reinforce the area around door and window openings. Place the reinforcing mesh on the innermost side. If the distance between the frame and the base wall exceeds 50mm, attach the mesh to both the frame and the wall. If it's less than 50mm, fold the mesh over. On large walls, ensure the mesh is embedded beyond the door and window frames. 15. At the corners of doors and windows, after applying the standard mesh, place a 200mm x 300mm mesh at a 90° angle relative to the corner’s bisector, attaching it to the outermost side for added reinforcement. On the inside corner, place a 200mm-long mesh that fits the width and attach it to the outermost side. 16. Below the window sill, install the reinforcing mesh first to protect against impact damage, followed by the standard mesh. Ensure proper reinforcement is applied. 17. The application method for the reinforcement layer is similar to that of the standard mesh. 18. Ensure the grid cloth covers all edges and corners during installation. 19. Apply the mesh from top to bottom, and carry out the meshing process simultaneously. Reuse the standard mesh as needed. 20. After the mesh is applied, protect it from rain, wind, or physical impact. Take precautions for door and window areas, cover the material to prevent pollution, and address any surface damage or contamination immediately. 21. The protective layer must not be exposed to rain for at least four hours after application. 22. Immediately after the protective layer has set, spray and cure it. If the average daily temperature is above 15°C, curing time should be at least 48 hours. If below 15°C, extend it to at least 72 hours.
