ã€Abstract】The selection of welding materials for P22 and P91 dissimilar steels was carried out. The weld material impact strength test was carried out under different heat treatment parameters. Through experiments, it was verified that the welded welds of P22 and P91 dissimilar steels were in a completely brittle state at -20 °C.
P22 and P91 steel have been used in foreign power industry for a long time, and there are more than ten years of application practice in China. However, most welding technicians do not fully understand the weldability of dissimilar steel between P22 and P91 steels. Especially in the case of brittle fracture, brittle fracture of welded joints often occurs during manufacturing or installation. To this end, the welding material matched with P91 steel was selected and heat treated with two sets of parameters, and the series impact test of 4 sets of temperature was matched to avoid the occurrence of brittle fracture accident.
First, the test materials
The test materials are P22 and P91 ferritic heat-resistant steel. The total alloy of P91 steel is higher than that of P22 steel, but the Y-type restraint crack test of the predecessors proves that the cold cracking tendency of P22 steel is greater than that of P91. The welding materials should be matched with P91 steel. The chemical composition and mechanical properties of the test steel and welding materials are shown in Table 1 and Table 2, respectively.
