Overall Lifting Method:
This construction technique involves using lifting equipment to position the entire grid structure once it has been assembled on the ground. All welding and splicing operations are carried out at ground level, making quality control more straightforward and reliable. Since the entire grid is lifted into place using specialized lifting devices, the capacity of the lifting equipment and the precision of its movement control are critical factors in ensuring a safe and accurate installation. This method is commonly used in conjunction with various types of grid structures in different venues, depending on the available lifting equipment. The key challenges during construction include maintaining synchronized lifting of the grid and controlling any lateral displacement that may occur during the process.
High Altitude Slip Method:
This method involves assembling individual grid units on pre-installed sliding tracks, either as a single unit or one by one. Because the grid is installed while being slid into place, it does not interfere with the internal construction of the building. This allows for parallel work on the upper and lower parts of the structure, significantly accelerating the overall project timeline and reducing the need for large-scale lifting equipment. It is particularly suitable for projects where a crossover setup is required or when three-dimensional construction coordination is necessary. The main focus of this method is ensuring the synchronized movement of each sliding unit during the installation process.
Safety and Operational Notes:
Anyone who is unfamiliar with the structure, function, or operating instructions of the tile press must not attempt to operate the device. The automatic tile press should never be used below its minimum closing height, which is defined as the distance between the bottom of the sliding box and the working surface—this must not be less than 290 mm. Additionally, the combined thickness of the upper and lower plates, along with the slab thickness, must not exceed 290 mm. Proper design must take this into account to prevent accidents. Always check the oil level inside the sliding box and on both sides. The equipment should be regularly cleaned and maintained to ensure smooth operation and avoid damage from dirt or moisture.
