China's modern agricultural water-saving technology has made progress

In the field of modern agricultural technology, the State “863 Program” has carried out crop water use physiological regulation technologies and varieties, transformation and utilization technologies and equipment for precipitation, precision water supply technologies and products, and heterologous water safe use technologies. Research on technology integration and base construction has achieved breakthroughs in the development of drought-resistant and water-saving varieties of crops, compensation for crop water and inadequate irrigation, efficient conversion and utilization of precipitation in fields, utilization of recycled water and sea ice resources, and development of corresponding equipment and products.

The project has filed a total of 92 patents, of which 64 were invention patents; 12 patents were authorized, including 6 invention patents; 5 were software copyright registrations, 2 standards were developed, 3 were approved, and 23 new products and processes were developed. 188 papers were published, of which 32 were included in SCI and 29 were included in EI; more than 30 domestic enterprises were attracted to participate in the implementation of the project, including Shihezi in Xinjiang, Pengyang in Ningxia, Shouyang in Shanxi, Daxing in Beijing, Lucheng in Hebei, and Fujian and Taiwan in total Established a 736-mu water-saving agricultural comprehensive technology research and integration experiment demonstration base.
