The reporter recently learned from Kunming Customs that in the first quarter, as ASEAN countries increased investment in domestic infrastructure construction, steel, non-ferrous metals, and fertilizers occupied the top three positions in Yunnan's exports of ASEAN commodities. In the first quarter, Yunnan Province exported 29.61 million U.S. dollars of ASEAN iron and steel, an increase of 3.24 times, and non-ferrous metal 28.52 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 37.9%, becoming the first two commodities for ASEAN exports to Yunnan Province. The export of ASEAN fertilizer was US$ 23.34 million, of which 70% was sold to Vietnam. Other large exports include tobacco, phosphorus chemical products, and textiles.
