Argentina ranks fourth in biodiesel production in 2010

According to a report released by the Argentina Agency for Renewable Energy (CADER), Argentina, the South American country, ranked fifth in the world in terms of biodiesel production in 2009, ranking fourth in 2010 and exceeding the United States.

Argentina's biodiesel production budget for 2010 was 1.9 million tons, an increase of 51% over the previous year, and sales totaled 1.9 billion US dollars (1.4 billion euros).
